I wouldn't try to think about it too much. It sounds like there's a lot you don't remember yet, so there's a lot of missing information.

And even if you got that information, you're still Natalia now. You don't have to make the same choices that your other life did.

I can't hide behind people like I used to do with my brother.

But...I'd never say no to moral support.
And you could use it as an excuse to spend a weekend in NYC.
Maybe even bring someone if there's anyone you'd like to spend a weekend with...?
