[ She glares at her cell phone for a long moment here, at Elliot's and then at Eren's comments. Without noticing, as she taps her finger on the table, she realizes a dagger had materialized next to her, piercing into into the table in line with her taps.

She snarls, dismissing the dagger and responding, ]

[ She glares at the hole in her table for a long moment, wondering how best to respond. in the end, she doesn't, at least not for a good ten or so minutes because she leaves the phone on the table and then goes somewhere else to pick up and then pet Porsche.

Gently, she strokes the dog.

Eventually, she comes back to the phone, and is grateful that she does, because her first response is to say that she would leave the Fairweathers before welcoming Clover as even a tangential part of them. ]

I've stopped, I won't mention her again other than to tell you to be careful around her.

[ He'd been hoping for an apology, or acknowledgement that she crossed a line. But no. She clearly doesn't see that, instead just censoring herself because she's been scolded. He wouldn't be surprised if her long pause was because she was fuming with her own indignation.

Which Elliot? He wasn't a fighter, or a confrontational person - and it hurt to have that reminder thrown in his face. Would he be disowned from the Fairweathers too if he did enough things they disliked? It's too painful to think about, and he's not up to fighting.

That's her first thought, but then she realizes.. ah, that's not true, is it? The family she belonged in was the one which has Zack, which has Olivia, which had her mother and father. Yes, Elliot was a part of it, but she's outnumbered here, isn't she?

She exhales through her nose hard. She's tempted to tell Eren to say her name around Clover and laugh at the result, but her emotions are riding high, both at her initial thought and at the result here.
