and in this video is eren huffing erratically with a grin so wide, his face streaked
and wearing a germany flag-cape over his platinum jersey, holding his phone up with one hand and with the other, crouched onto the apartment floor and hugging not one, but two dogs: titan and a creamy colored young old pitbull boxer mix with bright blue eyes that, quickly, is noticeable enough to be a lot more hyperactive. they’re both wearing germany bandanas with doggy grins. ]

You guys know Titan, [ BREATHE ] but this is Kaiser. [ BREATHE AGAIN, only to put something on tv, but too late, he takes an even deeper breath and starts speed talking. the dogs already begin to whine from the minute he starts onward, like dogs that have something to say but can’t say it. ]

Germany’s last chance at a saving win, Kroos stands over the ball free-kick on the left of the Sweden area, Kroos rolls the ball to Reus, he kills the pass, Kroos goes for the shot and— Toni Kroos!! The games last minute!! TOR GOAL.

[ there’s a pause short enough only for the dogs to lift their heads as this scene replays on the tv behind them with the speakers silent— until they howl. then the speakers blare gOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL and so does eren, yelling with them and shaking the camera and there’s a lot of bouncing until the dogs pile on him for making such a worrying racket.

and that’s what he was trying to do all morning. long live the champions. ]

Wow.

That's actually really cute? Natalia blinks at this video and she wants to hang out with those dogs but also she's laughing at the fact that this is here and she wonders if Elliot can get even half that into soccer...? Oh well, she giggles to herself and he response to the video is her own video of her cheering:

"clapping" insofar as she can with a prosthetic hand and doing a little whistle and cheer. ]

[ he’ll suck you in if you non soccer fans get too close, stay vigilante. but, hey, he’s just in a great mood! a great german mood. ]

[ this dog is hilarious. boxers. ]

Shit man, she thus whistles some more, but she's picked up the phone, walking to some other room . . . ]

[ eren sends a voice clip, this time of a silence and of eren playing the whistling video clip on another platform—

shortly after that dramatic silence, there is whimpering. the poor thing is really taking this seriously. ]

[nachetanya]

Awwww, poor dog... Are you okay there, it's okay!

[ Even goes into a softer baby voice. ]

[ alright, there is just a lot of panting now, with eren telling him to repeatedly anhalten, anhalten— anhalten when he gets too rowdy and too close. once they’re all on a calmer note, natalia’s put on headphone speaker. maybe he should take them on another walk, it’ll only do kaiser good. ]

He’ll get the hang of things.

I'm sure he will! He seems like a nice, earnest dog!

[ which is not an understatement, but, he’s fixing it. the rest is all true. ]

[ She weighs things a little bit, and she hums, seeming to have the sound of deep consideration for a moment before, ]

You know, that might be fun one of these days! I'll have to work around the noise myself, but I'd like to think I'm a little better about it than Ellie is.

[ Oh no, that is really cute. Elliot's not at all into soccer, but he can respect Eren's love for it. He'a always happy to see Eren so enthusiastic. And as for the dogs? It's just adorable. He hasn't even met Kaiser yet! Where did he come from?

So he's laughing when he sends his own video feed. ]

Hehehe, hi Kaiser! [He waves the screen] It's nice to meet you!

[ surprise??? kaiser is the whole surprise here. the only video eren sends back is of the pitbull boxer mix excitedly sniffing for the camera after hearing elliot’s voice. eren’s laughing while titan just sits and stares in the background, tail in a leisure wag— not that it’s visible with the huge dog face trying to slobber the camera.

“that’s elliot,” eren says, hushed at him and rubbing his hand all over kaiser’s big fat head, until dog clamps onto phone and all you can here is teeth and tongue against speakers and a loud shriek: kAISER AUS.

a little while later, after phone is retrieved and cleaned: ]

got too excited to hear you.
but we had prompto and noctis over earlier. you guys can come any day if you want, this year’s cup is crazy and the building is pretty much empty.

i was with koga at the shelter for one of the tasks and couldn’t leave without taking him. he’s really spoiled and needs a lot of work, but titan’s helping a lot.
he’s a good guy btw, koga.

Glad to hear you and Koga are getting along too!
He seems to be relaxing more.

kaiser gave us a run on the first day though.
but it's easier when you don’t feel so dislocated. you guys probably did a good job at welcoming him.

its noise cancelation is at <150dB with an mp3 plug in.

germany’s next game is in a few days if your up for it. that way i can work a little more on kaiser so he doesn’t try to storm through you.
