[Elliot had agreed to the speed dating mostly because they were paying to have people, and Elliot needed the money. He was pulling double shifts at the infirmary, between handling the Cwyld cases and treating the kidnapping victims, and that was cutting into his time to make money as a musician. But he could handle an evening of talking to new people, he liked meeting new people.
Overall the night has been mixed. Some were nice conversations, some were anxiety-inducing (thanks Sasuke). He'd been vaguely aware that his Bond was also here, but he didn't really seek him out since the point was to meet new people.
Except now here they are, paired up by change. Elliot was about to say hi and start talking to him like a normal human being .... but then Eren starts chugging the punch bottle like he's hoping to drink himself into oblivion.
