[ after the mess that most likely happened with eren, souji manages to find, well, himself in the alleyway. this is the last place that he remembers being and luckily, it's also still the place that his body is in. he can't be sure of whoever is in it but he has a fairly good guess based on everything. so... probably in eren's clothes (really oversized clothes and ten belts), souji kneels down to his body and-- ] [ --pokes his cheek repeatedly ] [ poke poke poke poke poke poke poke ]

[Elliot meanwhile is lying on the cold hard ground of an alleyway, passed out and for some reason feeling like he's been hit by a truck. It takes several pokes for him to even stir (is he dead?), which then he lets out a moan. God, he feels awful and why is someone poking him.] Stop what're you- [He half open his eyes, his vision is blurry so all he sees is someone kneeling over with orange hair and baggy clothes and belts. Which his groggy brain immediately jumps to conclusions who matches that profile and would be most likely poking him in such an annoying way: his little sister.] Taba? Knock it off.

[ who tf is taba??? souji has no idea who that is so he can't pretend to be that person at all. therefore, he doesn't say anything in response to that. instead, he just continues his poking, poking the exact same spot on elliot's cheek. ] [ you're going to have to physically stop him ]

[fiddlestick]

[Well that won't take too long. He makes an annoyed sound before he swats at that hand.] I said stop it-- [He looks more directly at Souji, making him realize that this is very much Not His Sister, but instead--] W-What?! [REELS BACK LIKE HE'S BEEN JOLTED AWAKE]

[ ah, that was fast. as elliot goes reeling back, souji finally stands up straight. hm, he could tell him what happened right now or... ] Hello, Elliot. It is me, Future Elliot. I've come to warn you about what will happen in the next few months. [ yeah ]

[Elliot sure is scrambling back the ground, looking pretty freaked out.] W-What?! Holy crap, how-- [He cuts off when he notices something off, his hand reaching for his own throat] M-My voice, why is it-? [DEEPER??? Why do I sound like Johnny Yong Bosch??]

[ souji just takes a few steps forward to close the distance between him and elliot. you can't escape, johnny yong bosch ] You're just catching a cold. [ he waves it off before he gets "serious" again ] Anyway, will you listen to my warnings? I've travelled far across time and space to give you this message.

This is unbelievable.... [He groans, trying to figure out what the frick is going on. BUT HE'LL LISTEN???]

[ GOOD good... souji kneels down right in front of elliot, speaking in a low voice. if he had a flashlight, he would hold it under his face but he'll just make do with the spooky voice ] Remember that post that Retrospec made? The one that didn't make a lot of sense? Well... that was just the beginning. Over the next few weeks, you're going to start noticing that everything will start... glitching. People will begin cutting in and out. You'll start to see the Matrix code everywhere. The sky will turn into the same shade as the blue screen of death. Everything will begin to fall apart. If you act now, you might be able to prevent this from ever happening but if you don't... well... you might as well say goodbye to this world as you know it.

[...............] Um...this is a strange joke, or a dream right? I mean, that sounds bad but....why would you send you- er, me? [I SEEM LIKE A BAD CHOICE FOR SUCH A JOB??????]

[ damn, elliot... you need more self-confidence in yourself. also, souji does a dramatic look to the ground as he bites his lip and speaks in a quiet voice. ] That's because... I was the only one left... [ he then looks at ellliot ] Everyone else disappeared. Elliot... we're the only ones left to change the future.

Oh...boy... [he gulps. This is bad?? This is really bad] O-Okay, what do you want me to do then? [And why are you so confident sounding future me?? this is weird]

I need you to first take my hand. [ souji outstretches it for elliot to take. ]

[Elliot will reach out his hand to take, but that's when he notices how very different their hands are. The size, the skin color, the degree of softness, everything was off- Elliot will yanks his hand back and stare at it] W-What?! Wait a sec! This isn't my hand...! [A MUSICIAN KNOWS HIS HANDS]

[ souji keeps his hand outstretched. his plan still hasn't changed and he stares into elliot's soul with a look that is probably unfitting for elliot's face ] No, it's mine. [ he chooses not to specify who he truly is ] Give me back my body, Elliot.

[SWEET JESUS. Elliot will yelp, which sounds very unfitting for Souji, and scoot back away from that DEMONIC CLONE] W-Wha?! [his body?!? He looks at both his hands. And his clothes. no. This isn't him. Holy crap] H-How-- Who are you??

[ the DEMONIC CLONE just inches closer and closer, the hand still outstretched. he won't let you escape ] The owner of that body you possess. It's not yours, Elliot. You're trespassing on my body. I want it back. [ souji uses the lowest old man voice he could make, trying to sound like a ghost. this is a good body swap ]

I didn't- [Considering this is your voice right now Souji, that creepy voice is not exactly the most effective. Elliot reaches out to try to hold him away at arm's length. Which Souji will find that's very easy to do as Elliot's body is 1) tiny and 2) incredibly weak.] I don't know what's going on! I never wanted to take your body! N-Nor do I want you in my mine!

[ welp, guess souji needs to smoke a ton in elliot's body to get that raspy voice that he wants. also dang, elliot. get some muscle. this is pathetic. souji feels so... weak... ] Is that the truth? Are you giving the whole honest truth that you had nothing to do with this?

[No can do he's a squishy mage okay] H-Honest! I wouldn't do something like this!!

[ what if souji works out in elliot's body and elliot gets ABS when he returns. also souji stares at elliot, looking deep into his soul for a good five seconds when-- ] Okay, I believe you. [ and then he pulls back. ] So, want to take a guess about whose body you're in?

[Souji if that's how you want to spend your time in Elliot's body, be my guest. And wow that was...that was a quick shift. Elliot nearly has whiplash, but he's relieved too. He sighs] Thank goodness... [But oh. Guess? He looks at his hands, he doesn't recognize them but why would he recognize someone elses hands? But he does notice the sleeves of the clothing....they are covered in some really gaudy cat pattern.] ...Souji?

[ he's going to get you so buff, elliot. ] [ souji's expression doesn't change when elliot gives his answer. he's gonna keep a poker face ] What's your reasoning for that?

Well...you know who I am, and I can't...think of anyone who'd wear a cat shirt so... [um] Bold?
