[ Minato just stares at the sky, resigned. "Eep!" is something he never thought he'd hear coming out of Souji's mouth, and that's probably the limit to his blessings today. He won't be able to convince Elliot to make a run for it anymore.

Let's just... get in the car, no need for handcuffs, sliding dutifully into the backseat with his cat that hasn't stopped hissing since, poofed up when she sees the police dogs in the back of the car, claws digging into Minato's thighs where he tries to hold her on his lap. ]

[Sorry Minato, he is a useless partner in crime today. Instead of running, he compliantly gets shuffled into the back of the squad car. He gulps at the police dog. He does like german shepherds, Eren had one but....they are much scarier when it's a police dog and you're a marked criminal. In fact instead of buckling himself in, he seems to freeze and stare off into his own little world. Was the trauma of becoming a deviant too much for him to bear .... ? ]

[ If Elliot's not buckling up, that's a sign of something being seriously wrong. Minato leans over and buckles Elliot in for him, but also deposits the cat onto his lap, where Katkat sinks her claws into his legs and continues to howl.
