I can meet you there! The bus ride there isn't bad.

I'll meet you by the entrance in about an hour?

Honestly, Natalia had been around pretty much as soon as she texted Elliot. She needed to pre-arrange something right? So she did. she might look a little hot after it all because she's been out in the sun for a while now. That said, she's kicking her feet on a bench waiting for him but as she sees him she grins and leaps to her feet ]

Elliot! Over here!

[Elliot meanwhile had been home, so he had to get ready and head out to the farmer's market, thus needing an hour. He had no reason to think that Natty was plotting something beyond maybe making another pitch for Elliot to become a vegetarian, so he smiles when he sees her]

Hey Natty!

[he waves as he approaches]

You look a little hot...you okay?

Oh it's just hot out, that's all! I must just be having a hot day.

[ It happens...!

... Also he has two sisters so Natalia might also be trying to highlight the corner of his brain which tells him "don't ask about the details because the answer might be better unknown" just because no need to highlight her elaborate trap. ]

I'm alright, don't worry! Come on, you've probably got something to pick up too, right? Not to mention, blueberries are in season now!

She takes his hand with a leap, getting into step towards the main row of various booths, ]

Haha, one or two things sure...but oh, I wouldn't mind some blueberries!

[He'll let his hand be taken as she leads! Where will she take him?]

[ Well, first things first is the blueberries? It's to set things up as being a normal trip first. A reliable seller and, ]

Blueberries it is!

[ But once that's done? Well, then the goal is going to be a bit of an aimless walk, she herself intending to lull until she gets to... well. It's some sort of new-agey type thing. Someone selling crystals and quartz and all that. ]

[The blueberries were a nice stall. Elliot made sure to buy a couple batches, since there's a lot of fruit treats you can put blueberries into. But once thats done, he lets Natty lead the way, seeing interested when they wander over to the new age-y area ]

Oh...don't think I come to this area often.

[ nat of course has always been into stuff like this - how else did she end up in a cult? - but right now, she's going more specifically to one booth here... and... Oh! She smiles and goes to greet the seller and talk up - well, rings. Numerous mood rings of various sizes? ]

Oh, Elliot! You should try on one of these!

[ She says, holding one of them up. ] These actually are pretty interesting to have around!

[he was looking over a bunch of healing crystal windchimes when she calls him over. He'll walk over, peering over her shoulder and-]

Mood rings?

[Huh!]

Haven't seen those in awhile- do they actually work?

Oh, from her? [ Nat winks at the seller, who seems to blush but will allow Nat to continue here as the pitch ] I assure you! There's even a little color guide here.

[ So come on, let's try one. ]

Oh...[He gives a sheepish smile and wave at the seller]

Okay, well sure! I'm a little curious.

[He'll reach down and pick one of the male rings that are...unsurprisingly, smaller than average!]

[ but here's the trap. Natalia went out of her way to plant several here - it's not uncommon for these sort of booths to have one size fits all. But now there is, in fact, a spread of all the ring sizes there are. In line. Carefully planned out? And she watches as he does, taking note of the fitting and reaching out to take his hand and play with it, to assess if it is right. ]

Yeah, so... we need to wait for it to get a feel for you first.

[The ring seems to fit properly! Maybe only slightly a little big, but not small enough to get stuck on his finger. Elliot is all oblivious to Natty's ploy]
