It's good if you want training with a weapon or fist fighting!
Not so much magic, so personally I don't get much outta the sessions.

But him getting arrested is bad. He didn't do anything, they just grabbed him off the street claiming he'd broken in somewhere. The real reason was cause he's the son of a political rival to some Duke. He was hoping to use the arrest as leverage. That's a little scary.

a duke? sounds like some corruption there... but i don't think i've heard that title in a long time. it almost feels archaic. what kind of world are you even from?

And...I wonder that too, honestly.
It's definitely not the dark ages. I remember tanks, motorcycles, and other tech like that.
But I also remember monsters, magic and giant mechs - so I doubt it's Earth.

Maybe not. But who knows, really.

I don't remember. I know a few of us decided to investigate a theft and vandalism case the authorities were ignoring, but that's not really on the same level as taking on a Duke. I don't even know what we could do about him.

there's actually a lot of things you can do, even in opposition to those in power. It takes a lot of determination and conviction in the face of bad odds, but it's doable. If he did that to your friend, he probably wouldn't stop there.

Still, not much I can do right now about him except try to remember more. Think watching Disney's Robin Hood would trigger memories about corrupt nobles?
