Aha, well when it comes to music, there's nothing backburner about it for me.
Being a songwriter for people would be really nice career, actually!

But yeah. I'll need to figure out a good price for transcribing a song from their memory.

You can charge them something ridiculously overpriced, and then let them haggle their way down to something less ridiculously overpriced. Then everybody's happy.

That's not a bad idea for a business, but I'm not very good at haggling at all.

Yeah you are. If you can argue with me, you can haggle with everybody else.

I think you're easier to haggle with than others...

Besides, it's different with my music than it is my food. It'd probably hurt to hear how little people think it's worth.

I'll help you practice haggling. I'm good at that.

People will pay upwards of a hundred dollars for a bite of food, yet expect music to be free. You're involved with both. You know that already. It isn't personal.

It's personal to me.

Music's important to me, way more important than cooking is. The reason I started cooking for people is so I could get money for music stuff. I'll probably even close down the food shop once my music career gets enough off the ground to support itself.

I know that double standard exist, I do. I just....I don't think I can handle being told it to my face every day.

I'm kind of glad I'm stockpiling from you before you close everything down.
You could always get a manager to do the haggling for you. Then all you get to hear is the good news when a deal is made at a reasonable price. ...I charge a 5% cut.

I had to withdraw, so school doesn't matter anymore. And they're not full time jobs, and I don't go five days a week either.

It's cafe stuff and a paid internship, so I can't get 8 hours a day from them anyways.

No, I meant the withdrawing from school...

I was enrolled in an out of state university. I don't think it exists anymore. Haven't heard from them since I moved here.

Oh no...that's terrible. I didn't even think about how people going to school online would get affected by the radio silence.

Spend the next five months trying to get tuition refund, that's how they're being affected.

There's nothing for you to be sorry about. That's just how life is. I'll deal, and so will everybody else reach those they need to.
