Natalia seemed really fond of you from what I've heard. Elliot, are you the older or younger sibling?

[If Nanashi had to guess then he'd say younger. Elliot doesn't seem that old.]

[She's a good cousin!! He clicks his tongue]

Ehe, younger. My brother's ten years older.

Ten whole years? Wow.

[Nanashi's only one year older than his sister. That's a large age gap. ]

Bet you must feel a little young standing in front of him.

Ha, young and short. He's over six feet tall.

[And muscular from all the firefighting stuff. Basically, total opposite of wee 5'4" Elliot here]

Even I'd have to jump a little to reach his height!!

[Nanashi isn't much shorter than Elliot standing at only 5"2.]

My cousin lives in the city too. His name's Jouhei Kurosawa. Do you know him?

[Elliot might know Nanashi's family for all he knows.]

Jouhei Kurosawa... no, I can't say I do. [But wait] Oh, but I know a Dia Kurosawa! Any relation?

Nah, there isn't any relation that I know of. It's probably just a coincidence.

[Nanashi shrugs.]

We're here, aren't we?

[It took them a while but they're at the store!! Yeah!!! ]

Aw. That's too bad.

[You could've been a cousin!! Sorta kinda]

Oh! Yeah! This is it!

[They made it!! He'll hold the door open for Nanashi out of politeness]

[Nanashi takes a look around and it's a pretty big place. It's got what they need so they're fine regardless.]

Do you think they have any good sales at this hour?

[it is a pretty sizeable place! Not the size of Junes or a huge box grocery store, but it's a pretty decent sized neighborhood grocery store. Enough for basic groceries and some specialty stuff. ]

I hope so! Sometimes they have evening sales.

I'll check over here.

[He's poking around looking for things they need.]

Elliot, do we need vegetables? Or is there enough at home?

[Nanashi isn't sure what they've already got so he's double checking.]

[Elliot meanwhile is looking at the meat deli to see what there is to offer]

Um...

Get some tomatoes please! Oh, and some potatoes! I think we're running low.

[reaquila]

Alright, I'm on it.

[Nanashi picks up a bag of tomatoes and hands it over to Elliot. ]

Is this good? It's a little heavy.

[Shopping is hard. He's never thought about the quantity or quality of food before. Elliot might be able to pitch in 2 cents. ]

[Elliot inspects the tomatoes for a moment, before handing back the bag]

They're not ripe yet. Try for some denser ones, but still firm.

Okay, I'll go take another look.

[He puts the other bag of fruits back and checks for one with a different quality. Nanashi spends a few minutes inspecting all of the tomatoes.]

Does it normally take a while to pick out the right one? Some of these aren't good at all.

[So he's still going through them.]

[Eventually once Elliot picks out some beef, he'll notice how long it's been. He'll go back to check on Nanashi, peering around his shoulder]

Usually not this long, no.... [though that might be because Elliot buys tomatoes all the time] Do you need some help?
