[....One more. That he knows of. Well that's, uh, something. It'd be good to have a moment to process that, but he sees Eren's freaking out a little- so he focuses on that. He'll reach over to touch his cheek]

N-No, I know. You wouldn't do that. [He leans over to rest his forehead against Eren's. See? He's not afraid of you] It's okay...

[ wait until he remembers breaking coconuts

but the reassurance does cut the worry short; there was a reason eren never really mentioned it to anyone, and didn’t want to, for the record. ]

. . . It was the same memory from February. [ the lottery winner that made him want to just. stop going after these memories as a whole. let them come the way they should and always know how to differentiate himself from eren, and eren he sighs quietly when their foreheads touch, his arm reaching around him again to keep him close. ] It was some. [So it was part of that memory. That alone explained a lot. Even if it was freaky for Elliot to hear, it had to be worse for Eren who had to experience it. And he could understand why he wasn't willing to share it with others. People who knew him less would be a lot faster to judge. ]

What a crappy memory....

[He leans into that hold, letting them be close]

[ eren exhales deep, relieved to be hearing it from the person in his arms. to try and keep the air air flowing and light, eren smiles with a slight quirk. ]

[ there honestly . . . wasn’t anyone better than elliot for him, for anything. ]

Got any memories to beat that?

[he offers a little smile]

Of course. That's what this is for.

[To share the memories, to help unload some of that burden. But at that joke, he gives a little chuckle and then...hesitates]

[ eren’s mood shifts a little from smiling to looking a little concerned for a minute— by no means did he want to force anything elliot felt hesitant to say in the first place. ]

[there's a pause as he deliberates. On one hand, he absolutely trusts Eren and does want to share things with him. He doesn't want secrets between them. On the other hand

Just someone I knew...has a monstrous side. I don't think they don't really know how to control either. It came out when they were a kid, and...they were pretty traumatized by it.

I remember it the night after I saw you as a titan.

[ It's good timing with the hoodie, because that chilled wind made him shiver. He'll say a quick "thanks" and wraps it around himself like a blanket. ]

[Oh no, don't be cute like that. It catches Elliot by surprise enough to make him smile and his cheeks turn red. He ducks his head down a little]
