Curiosity.
Someone took note of the number of otamatone covers on the trick or treat app and was questioning whether a band could be started with them alone.

Um.
Well theoretically you can start a band with any combination of instruments.
So you could.
Not sure why you would though.

It's not so much popularity, I'm sure there'd be some niche for it.
It's more the lack of variety in instruments if you use only them.
And they're toys too, so they don't have the same range as say a piano or a guitar.
So you'd be really limited in what you can perform.

It'd be like painting in one color only?
You could do it, but it might start sounding all the same really quick.

Yes, things are ever changing in the art world and remaining relevant is a challenge. I suppose it's the same for the music world as well...
