I've done thorough research, and while it's inconclusive whether it was the fault of the cheese, the tomatoes, or the fact they ate pizza so late, it was a possible cause to the nightmares they had after.
Also, the presence of them within your dreamscape says as much as well.

But the reason there were tomatoes is because I recently remembered a tomato monster in my other self's life.
It had nothing to do with what I ate.

I moved to Recolle back in August, after living in NYC. It's the first time Eren and I have lived in the same city, but I didn't think he was interested in me. So when someone else asked me out, I agreed. But when I told Eren, he started acting...weird. Not mean or anything, just weird. I didn't know what was going on.

I went on the date, and it was fun. He was a very nice and attractive guy, but he wasn't really my type? So we're just friends now.

But Eren didn't know that, so he kept avoiding me. I was getting really worried, but Soleil insisted I just tell him how the date went. So when I finally reached him, I did.

Well, next thing I know, Eren's car is parked outside my house. He invites me to go on a drive,
and we drive to this place with a beautiful view of the stars and city skyline. We sat on the hood of his car, and he tried to tell me, but he got so nervous that he couldn't get the words, and he just took my hand instead.

And that's how I knew.
