She gave him a whole basket of apple-things in February before we went back to Magatus.

And I don’t want you tasting anything crappy if I don’t. I still remember cooking with her, just . . . Not all the time.

If it tastes off, you can ask if she'd teach you how to cook as a way to spend time together.

I’ve been meaning to see her more anyway, so good idea. She’s pretty alone now that my sister left the house too.

I think I remember seeing her when she actually did come back. It was still August. She was at the hospital, but it’s just really blurry. Like a dream.

If I still know her, she’s having a pity party, I just need to crash it.
