Someone theorized that they could be hiding on another "layer", like the ones they mention sometimes.

It'd make sense, when you think about it.

it would, yeah. i've only been able to pass through the layers once and the surroundings looked the same.

James just got back to me and he said it felt like he was on autopilot once he started writing the note.

They could be hiding it within a mundane building. The layers have caused a lot of trouble so far, I would think they'd be hesitant to mess with them when they've been so volatile recently...

no, not really. apparently, it just happened like he intended to do it. whatever the culprit is using, its reach and potential is ridiculous.

That rules out Persona users and anyone from my world, at least. He would've noticed something for sure if it were them. That just leaves...nearly everyone else.
