I know what you mean. You wanna jump ahead to things being okay, when it takes a little time to get there. And there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, I don't see you doing anything unreasonable because of your feelings.

Oh, no, I don't see that happening either. It's mostly just all this overthinking that's getting to me. [ A pause - and then a smile... still only a small thing, but definitely a bit lighter than he was just moments ago. ] Talking through it helps. I could probably stand to remember that more often, huh?

Well, I tried? He actually contacted me for advice today...

Hehe, you do have a habit of overthinking sometimes. [Then again, it's not like he's always innocent in that either] Yeah! Sometimes you just need an ear.

[And also, by this time, a server with the food is coming to bring their fish and chip baskets. It smells freshly fried. Delicious.]
