[Towa stays for a good while, keeping Crow company and honestly enjoying the distraction. But she knows as soon as it's over that she won't be able to sleep. She's worried about Elliot too. Neither of them can be taking this well. So she'd feel better if they did it together. She just... doesn't want to be alone right now. So as soon as she's finished there, she makes her way to Elliot's room and gives the door a good knock.]
I brought the ice cream. There's still only one spoon though.
[It's fine. They're... not fine. But this... is fine.]
[While Towa had been with Crow, Elliot had attempted to distract and busy himself with music. He first attempted to compose, but the sadness he felt was still in that stage that deafens creativity. He knows eventually he'll get inspired, but eventually he has to give up chasing the ghost that'll be tonight.
So instead he opts for doing the activity that tends to relax him the most: tune and maintaining his instruments. He's working on a guitar when Towa enters. He'll offer her a small smile]
Hey Towa ... and haha, that's fine. I'm not contagious in that way.
[Yes. He totally checked if his saliva could pass Cwyld. It was important]
[Towa sits next to him, hugging her legs to her chest; turning her head to lay on her knees as she looks over at Elliot. How's Crow doing...? She wish she knew better herself.]
He's absolutely devastated that he'll miss out on not one but two shirtless handsome men at his party.
[Is there any other sign that's necessary to prove that Crow's party is cursed? She thinks not. The smile on her face dims.]
I don't know if I was any help-- but even without that, I know he'll be okay. I'm sure there are a lot of things he's frustrated about right now, even if I know he's still running from some things. But I believe in him.
[A lot of those things are ones Crow will have to face on his own. Or at least make the choice to open up about.]
[He can't help but let out a sigh at that remark. Yeah. Sounds like Crow alright]
Poor guy. Who would've thought that party was a bad idea...?
[Other than like everyone but Crow. But he'll sound more sympathetic on the next part]
I'm sure you were. He's just got a lot going on right now. I mean, the rest of us will see Rean again when we get home. Meanwhile his situation is a lot more...unclear.
[To put it simply. There's no guarantee they'll be able to bring Crow back to Erebonia with them, after all]
It’s an absolutely horrible idea and he knows it. Still... I want to try and make it a good one for him. There aren’t that many things that Crow wants that he’s honest about, so I feel like that has to count for something.
[The whole party is a terrible idea. However— it’s something that Crow wants. It just feels like they should give it their all to make it the best party they can.]
Yeah... he won’t admit it, but I know it’s really hard on him. At least I got to tell Rean how I felt before he left. Crow... might not get that chance.
[She bites her lip. This ordeal has made her think a lot about Crow too, and the feelings that she hadn’t unpacked with him yet. The thought of leaving so many things unsaid and the potential regrets— it scares her. But saying those things could hurt Crow more for all she knows.
...those are thoughts for another time.]
That’s right. Thanks. For letting me stay here for a bit. I... really didn’t want to be alone either.
Aha...I think thaaaat's the nicest any of us feel about it. [Elliot's all for doing things to make Crow happy, but boy, dressing up in swimwear to be openly oogled is a lot] You're okay now with wearing swimwear for this thing?
[He's a little thankful he has a very solid excuse to get out of this. He didn't get the implant with the intent of getting out of the party, but it was one nice upside.]
Yeah...I think he's realizing that right now. [He had seen it himself, how Crow had put things off, or avoided them. Feelings always have a way of catching up to you ... Elliot didn't envy him]
Stay here as long as you'd like Towa. I could use the company too.
"Okay" is a strong word for what I feel about it. In reality, I'm actively dreading it.
[Trust her, she bought the thing but it doesn't mean she's looking forward to it. Swimwear is like the second worst thing for someone who has personal image issues to wear.]
I'm glad he's realizing it, I just... wish it could've happened some other way.
[And not when it was too late.]
Careful, you might have trouble getting rid of me.
[As if she didn't spend enough of her time out of the house working anyway.]
I’ll manage... I’m just glad it’s a party among friends and no one else. The less people I have to face, the better. [It might be 100% bias, but she’s still thankful for it.] Ahaha... thanks, I hope so.
[God, he’s right though. Crow could never learn the easy way. Maybe it was always destined to be like this. The lack of mecha is a definite improvement though.]
Me neither. So... at least until tomorrow morning, I want to stay with you.
Mm, you'd have to be pretty bold to actually invite people to come, so I imagine it'll be a small group. [At least, he prays for that for everyone's sake]
[He moves closer, moving to wrap an arm around the small of Towa's back]
Then in that case, I'm all yours until tomorrow morning.
[It does make her happy that he doesn’t mind— but this isn’t about her or that right now. And she can’t help but get a little embarrassed when the focus is put on her.]
Y-you can go back to what you were doing. I don’t mind you know— I’ll try not to distract you too much.
[Not that she minds. She wouldn't mind spoiling him a little too. Towa opens the ice cream and digs out a small spoonful, holding it up to Elliot's mouth.]
Open up.
[Yes. She's feeding it to you. You're not the only one who can be embarrassing here.]
12/24; visit after her talk with Crow
I brought the ice cream. There's still only one spoon though.

Of course. We're all here for each other.

[He's biased as all heck, but still!!!]
Me too, but it's not like Crow to learn things the easy way...so maybe there wasn't another way.
[At least there wasn't any giant robot fights over this emotional lesson]
Somehow that doesn't sound like a problem to me.

[Besides Crow and maybe Fie, she doesn’t think any of the others would subject their friends to this kind of party.
As his arm wraps around her, Towa relaxes a bit, leaning against him.]
You’re too good to me.
[Not an actual complaint, even if she does feel a bit spoiled.]
no subject
[Not that he has any ideas in mind. But still, Towa deserves the world.]
no subject
[The fact that she can admit that shows how far she’s come.]
Buuut right now, just having you here with me is more than enough.
no subject
Well, good thing I can be here then.
[He's not going anywhere]
Still, you didn't even try to argue that you deserve nice things. You've come pretty far, Towa!
[Sorry of course he's going to call it out]
no subject
Ooohhh... I-it’s not like I don’t know that, I just...
[But she gives up trying midway and sighs.]
Maybe it is a little selfish. But I’m not giving it up for the world. So there.
no subject
I'd never ask you to give it up. I like when you're a little selfish with me.
no subject
Y-you can go back to what you were doing. I don’t mind you know— I’ll try not to distract you too much.

Oh, that's okay ... music's not really talking to me tonight, so I was just tuning instruments to keep myself busy.

no subject
A-Are you feeding me?
[He'll hold his mouth open, but half out of surprise because what is this]
no subject
Mm-hmm. It's not the first time I've wanted to either.
[But he'd given in and eaten willingly during the storm, even if he hadn't wanted to, so she spared him.]
no subject
[He says with a spoon his mouth. He'll be good though, and eat the ice cream, making an "mm" sound. It's good!]
no subject
[She's glad to see he's getting a bit better in that regard anyway.]
Only because I was worried about you though. This time it just seemed like the right thing to do.
no subject
[But hey, he's willing to indulge her.]
So...how about another bite?
no subject
[Besides. Belatedly, it's nicer to enjoy when it's just the two of them.]
Heehee... gladly!
[Towa happily scoops up another bite for him, gently feeding it to him.]
