Ahaha... her name is Natsuru Senou. She's a really good friend of mine. I promised her we'd spend some time together after this trip. And she wanted to meet you all too, sooo this just seems like it could be the perfect time.
We've run into each other a number of times, but it's always been kind of a disaster. So I wanted to do something fun together. Besides, there was something I wanted to talk to her about anyway.
[A-ahem.]
Even I kind of want to take a little bit of a break after the way things have been going this month.
Haha, well then we'll have to make sure this party is fun and not a disaster! Should be pretty easy to do....though will you need some privacy for that talk?
[He says, because he is oh so curious]
Wow, if you wanna take a break, then I feel less bad about not wanting to move for awhile.
Actually, we were going to make a little sleepover out of it. Of course, that was back before I realized just how busy things were going to get in our house. But it's no trouble, she can stay with me. It's nothing terribly important, but-- well, we'll see.
[She doesn't want to make a big deal out of it before it even happens. Natsuru could say no after all-- she doesn't want to get ahead of herself.]
I can't blame you there. While we'll have our work cut out for us to get this house ready, it's probably nothing compared to what we'd have to do to prepare another one. But don't worry about me, I'll be as good as new in no time.
Haha, a sleepover sounds like it'd be fun! [HOW TO PUT THIS SUPPORTIVELY...] Want me to make a soundproof barrier scroll to use on your room? You know, to keep anyone from eavesdropping.
[Or other sounds you wanna mute. You go girl]
Yeah, I'd be all for not moving to a new house. Let's just find some beds and fit them where we can.
I would just end up telling you all anyway, so it's not any kind of big secret. But I don't even know if she's going to say yes. So I just figured it was better not to say anything yet. I do want to ask her though if she'd consider forming a Bond with me.
[So much for waiting, but it's better than letting there be some kind of misunderstanding... right? Maybe?? A little???]
I'm not sure what she'll say but yeah, I'd like to ask. We've been friends for almost two months now.
She doesn't have the kind of experience we do, so I've been worried about her after what happened in the dream where we first experience Dorchacht. I don't know if I'm the best choice-- but I'd like to help if I can.
Well it is true that Bonds are more intense than Combat Links. My first bond took more getting used to than I thought it would...
But I'd still say a lot of people overthink what a Bond means. At the end of the day, it's a mutually beneficial partnership. As long as you trust someone to be emotionally open with them, that's all you really need.
Yes, that was what I thought after my first experience with them too.
[The broken temporary Bond with Rean had given her a lot to think about in the beginning. But we don't talk about those times anymore.]
Honestly, I've had some doubts about myself I've been trying to work though. I wanted to be sure before I made that commitment that I could trust myself to be able to support the people I wanted to. Now, I think I'm ready to do that. At least... with two, anyway. I don't know about three yet...

So, I'm looking forward to meeting her! A friend of yours got to be pretty great.
[Sure there's a not zero chance of them turning out to be a terrorist, but still great!!]

nononono it's nothing as important as all that you don't have to go through any trouble

Oh, really? You're hoping she'll be your second Bond?
Sounds like you two really hit it off!
[No. It didn't clear up misunderstandings nearly as much as she hoped]

think of them like permanent combat links-- it won't be so nerve wracking that way

I guess it would be easier to look at it that way.
[Has she been over thinking it this entire time? Probably.]
But there is a much smaller limit to what's safe to do with them, so it doesn't feel right to say it's as simple as that.
