[One week.Towa takes a sip-- and then immediately, another. Speaking of time--]

In just under two weeks it'll have been two months.

[ He stares down at his drink but doesn't take another sip yet, instead swirling the glass around. ]

I don't have an answer for you yet, but... I'm still thinking about it.

[She scoops some ice cream in her mouth, pulling her legs up and hugging them to her chest.]

I wouldn't ask you now anyway. You have enough to think about. I waited this long... I can wait two more weeks.

Sure it would be a little weird to change now, but— it doesn’t matter what form I take here as long as I can still be of use to everyone. So don’t worry about me at all, okay?

Still... I understand. I knew from the beginning I was asking a lot. But no matter what, I’m still going to be here and— if we have to find another way then we’ll find another way.

[She bumps her shoulder against his with a smile.]

Whether I take you up on that offer or not, I don't want you to change that part of yourself unless it's what you want. I'll support you either way, but I'm not having you change yourself just for my sake.

[ But he bumps her shoulder back. ]

I gave it a lot of thought before I said anything. It’s not an insignificant change after all. But I wouldn’t have any regrets. Not one.

[It’s not like she has a reason to do so besides the fact that it would be safer for Crow. But that doesn’t mean it’s not what she wants if it would help.]

Besides. It’s not just for you. It’s... for my own sake too. I’ve lost enough people that I care about. I don’t want to lose you again too.
