[He leads Souji to the kitchen. On the counter and table there are: 1 omelet on a plate next to a stack of sparkling pristine pancakes, that looks absolutely beautiful and is glowing with a golden aura, a pot of egg drop soup that's also emitting the golden glow, a batch of shimmering cookies, and a pot of....coffee? It's glowing an ominous purple aura, and the shade of coffee is so dark it can only be described as "pitch black".

What do you do]

[ um he obviously goes for the coffee?? who do you think he is. he will pick up the pot to inspect the liquid inside ]

Will they give me status boosts or something like that?

[The liquid is both very runny, and very sludgey- depending on parts. How did coffee become like this? It's a mystery. Also yes, still glowing that ominous purple glow]

Th-The coffee? [Wow, getting right to the hell] I think it restores magic energy if you use magic...mana pools..? Whatever it's called.

[ look, you start with the worst so it’s all easy from this point on ]

[ he’ll just... idk make a giant ice block in the front or back yard ]

Oh, sure! [He'll gesture to the backdoor in the kitchen] Go ahead and use the backyard- just don't hit the apple tree, please.

[ souji steps out the backdoor for a bit and it's... it's like a sitcom. elliot can just be in the kitchen and he'll just see sudden flashes of light flooding the place and the sound of loud thunder then a car alarm going off, cats hissing, and dogs barking... and then souji just comes back indoors like nothing is wrong ]

All right, so am I allowed to drink this whole thing?

[LIKE A SITCOM INDEED. Elliot sometimes glances out the window, trying to get a peek at what Souji is doing out there. But he's been doing enough magic himself to know that it's probably best to stay inside. You know, where he can't get hit by lightning.

He'll scratch his jaw with his index nervously when Souji comes back in, all calm ]

[There's a mug set next to the coffee pot. If he drinks it, while the taste is gone- it'll still taste somewhat sludgey, even a bit gritty. It's really hard to describe the exact texture other than coffee should not be like this. God knows what it'd be like with the taste.

Though it will heal a sizable amount of magic energy! And probably increase your Courage]

[ souji definitely comes back in all calm and ready to drink this disgusting mug of coffee. he honestly doesn't even give it a second look, just picking up the cup and, without hesitation, souji drinks its entire contents. he doesn't stop until it's entirely empty and when he does, he just lowers the cup, just looking upwards as he makes his judgment of whatever he just drank. there's no taste so he can only judge based on the texture and how he feels in terms of restoring his sp but after a second... ]

... this is pretty good.

[ he nods as he looks at elliot ]

Do you have any plans on selling this?

He watches with wide eyes as Souji drinks down the coffee. No one has ever chugged down his drink like that. There's usually gagging, cringing, horrified looks. Sometimes people refuse to drink it all down. But him. He drinks it like it's nothing. Like it's an actual beverage.

Him calling it pretty good? Only further the shock on his face. What is he??]

[ this is the man who purposely ate a can of mystery meat back in feburary, admitted over the network that he tried cat food, proceeded to eat as many pet treats with his brother, and have done god knows how many other atrocities in the name of courage. also noah is giving him grass that he'll actually eat so... ]

I'd take it. I'd be willing to come by every other day or so to fill up a thermos if you'd let me.

Regardless, I'd love to have more of your coffee and anything else you'd create. I guarantee you that I'll enjoy whatever you put out, no matter how strange or unedible they seem to be.

[He lowers his hand and clasps his hands together in front of him]
