I believe it's from a video game. It came up on a random playlist I was listening to as I was painting... but unfortunately I'm lacking in any context.
There were quite a few nice songs that played, come to think of it.
Oh! That's really pretty too! Looks like it's a language written for the game. Wonder what it says, I always like when creators go that deep with world building.
[Better believe he'd be the one to listen to every bard song in Inquisition]
I wonder if that's common. I've heard a few songs that sound like they might have latin in them, and upon re-listening I've discovered it's just a made up language.
Idk about common, but there's some appeal to doing it I think. If you can't understand what's being said, it's easier to hear a voice as a proper instrument. Words can be distracting sometimes, like it's hard for you to think of how English or Japanese must sound to a non-speaker.

It has a certain sadness to it, but still...hope? Idk if thats the right word- but it's not despairing.
[It's hard to put into words exactly.]
Can you share them?
I'd love to hear them!

[ ... ... after a moment, he sends it over. ]
This one has lyrics as well!

But in parts it sounds a lot like French, and I get distracted trying to figure out if it is or not.
no subject
It's beautiful, but you're not wrong about the French part.
I wonder why they did that.

what is the instrumental equivalent of "aesthetic"?
no subject
Ambiance, I think? Aesthetic works too, I get your point.

Whatever the word is, that was likely the goal.

Hey! You said you were listening while painting, right? What're you working on?

Morrigan has been posing around the bedroom, so I thought I would try painting him and capturing his majesty.

... Yes.
I will replace it by tomorrow.

I kinda suspected Morrigan found himself an accomplice.

Think I can borrow the feline muse when you're done?
I could use some inspiration.

He is truly a free and independent spirit... at least regarding this sort of thing.
I would recommend bribery, through the use of food.

What a fleeting muse.
I don't wanna overfeed him.
Maybe I'll try catnip though.
no subject
He may like the variety, yes. He might be spoiled if he is fed too much tuna.
