I know this is kind of last minute, but do you happen to have any plans this weekend? I was hoping I could get together a couple of friends and go out somewhere for dinner.

That sounds great! The only plans I have is grading papers, which I'll take any opportunity to get away from that!

Are you sure about paying though? I don't mind chipping in.

I mean, if you want to chip in, it's fine! But my parents sent over a good chunk of money for my birthday, so I was hoping to spend it on a night out with friends anyway.

Yeah, but it's a university dorm, not an apartment, and at least I have standing room for more than one person. Besides, I make do with a hot plate.

I'll let you know when I figure out where we're going and when. I think my other friend is going to help me pick a place, but you know me, so expect Asian food, haha.

I live alone, so it's not like I NEEDED space for more than one person. A hot plate is not a suitable substitute for a kitchen, Rean.

There's a sink and a microwave in the common area, and I can cook what I need to on a hot plate! Besides, I'm on a meal plan, so it's not even like I need to cook for myself that often!

But yeah, okay, sounds like a plan. Let me know when you do get a nicer place, too. I... can't imagine you have too much stuff to move given the closet you're currently occupying, but I can at least help move the bed.
