[Right, well, if there's one thing that Kakyoin remembers from the past year and is not keen on repeating, it's this faerie curse nonsense. He's managed to get his initial one under control (only to be smacked with another later, and now he's turning into a dragon... jeez).

But, well, he remembers commiserating over curses last year with Elliot, and that's got something to do with why he's lingering today, after classes have ended. Once it looks like the man isn't busy, Kakyoin approaches.]

Do you have a moment?

[Elliot was busy erasing the whiteboard for the day of all the things he wrote up there during the lesson. He looks over at Kakyoin, offering a smile]

Of course, Kakyoin! [He wonders if this is about class or something else] What can I help you with?

[Kakyoin can't help but smile back a bit, as a hand goes into his pocket to pull something out.]

I have something I wanted to give you.

[He holds the item out--it's a simple cuff bracelet, decorated with a treble clef made from wire.]

It's all made from iron. I thought it might be helpful given... Well, you know what's on the horizon.

[Elliot looks surprised. He wasn't expecting to get anything]

Oh?

[His eyes widen as he realizes what it is. An iron bracelet...to protect against the Fae. Elliot had been trying to keep quiet about his own concerns about the Fae after his experience last year- so to have Kakyoin remember and-

He'll take the bracelet, his expression touched as he realizes what the kid did. He's got such a good kids]

Kakyoin...that's so thoughtful of you, thank you! [He smiles brightly as he puts it on, admiring it] Hehe, it even has a little treble clef, I love it.

Both of us getting cursed last year has been on my mind since the warnings came up and I got worried. I'm not eager for a repeat, and I'm sure you aren't, either.

[He rubs the back of his neck and smiles more, though.]

It took me a while to get it to form correctly, but it didn't feel right to leave it plain.

Ha...you hit the nail on the head there. [He definitely isn't. It's been giving him a feeling of dread ever since the prophecies first came up] It was my first real exposure to the Spirit Realm...and I can't say it was the best introduction to have.

[But still, the thought that Kakyoin went through all the effort is really touching]

I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. I'm really grateful. I feel like I should be doing something to repay you!

[It's probably fairly clear that Kakyoin's been feeling some sense of dread, too.] Yeah, I imagine it wouldn't be...

[He smiles and shakes his head.]

You really don't have to. If it helps reassure you even a little, then I'm satisfied.
