Just because a god is real doesn't mean you have to worship them. I would say it's still atheism, but in respects to not wanting to actively worship a specific deity regardless of them being a tangible presence.
[To actually get it confirmed is...wild. He himself needs to pause a moment to digest it]
Zulius made a joke to him about bending a rule, and Zhongli went on a long rant about the God of Contracts that seemed pointed and suspicious. So...yeah, he's about as subtle as a rock, pun intended.
Yes, it's a threatening rant that I'm more than passing familiar with, having stepped in it myself once. The people in his country referred to him as Rex Lapis, but he does prefer going by Zhongli. So long as you don't make a contract with him, you'll be fine.
[He's just going to try not mentioning that he's offered to form a contract with this man so he can help get the dumb lizard out of this organization. Try being the operative word in this sentence!]
[UGGGHHHH and Elliot asks the question. Jusis rubs his face for a moment.]
No, I have not. However, he has one with The Order. I can't speak too much about it because of how deeply personal it is, but the reasons behind forming such a contract were things I could empathize with. Currently, I'm trying to help him with his situation.
[Hopefully it won't involve Jusis going into a contract with Zhongli, but it might. That being said, he has no intention on ever breaking the terms of their contract, so... it should be fine? Not to mention, he can't get into the details of how he intends to help Zhongli since he's 99.9999% sure he's being monitored on that kind of talk.]
Yes. It might have been a conversation I had with him once.
[...Ugh...fine, he'll tell the truth of his feelings. Jusis has already told Zhongli under no uncertain terms.]
I have to at least try, Elliot. Not just because of the idea of them having a god under their control is a terrifying prospect. Zhongli is a friend, and I can't stand there and watch him torture himself like this.
He reminds me of Crow. Not in terms of personality, but in terms of situation.
[What a time to be out working late. This sure is a bunch to catch up with once he steps outside... but. Okay.]
Honestly, I wish all of this made less sense than it does.
Regardless - whatever you need, Jusis, you know you have my support. Just don't get yourself pulled into something such that I can't follow you, that's all I ask.
I certainly wish this wasn't the reality of the situation, either.
I'll handle any legalese, of course. That being said, I appreciate the support. I give you my word that I won't go anywhere you can't follow.
[Jusis made that mistake once and almost paid dearly for it back in April. He's not about to make the same foolish mistake twice, especially when this is a pretty huge task he's getting involved in.]

Hey Jusis, is Zhongli a god?

I shudder to think how you came to that conclusion, but I suppose he's not exactly subtle.
Yes, Zhongli is a god. Or he was a god, I should say. A god of stone and contracts. He told me as such in confidence.
[Not that it was hard to guess, but you know.]

[Just. Goddamn it, Zhongli!!!!]

[But it is good to know Zhongli isn't going around killing contract breakers willy-nilly.
Though...Elliot can't help but wonder, considering how Jusis has come upon this information]
Have YOU formed a contract with him?

You just had to use the Crow card didn't you...
[He's not angry about it. Jusis is one of the few that could get away with it. But he gets it.]
Alright, I understand. Just please be careful okay? I'm sure you're already aware of the risks.

It's the only way I could think of to safely make my point about my feelings.
I promise, I'll be careful. I'll most likely need everyone's help, though.

And of course I'll help where I can. Though...any legalese will be left to you, Jusis.
