The sea monsters were easy enough, they only had one head each and identifiable weak points. How do you even fight something with multiple heads? You can't simply cut off all the heads.

No worse for wear than I usually am, and something like that wasn't about to challenge him. As far as I'm aware we haven't seen any casualties or serious injury.

Apparently the answer is 'get it drunk and hit its weak point, then pick a face to punch it in'.

We're all okay, I promise. City's going to need a lot of repair work, but what matters is we're all alive to do it.

That's mythology for you. It's almost never as epic and thrilling as it sounds and there's usually a weird catch somewhere.

I don't know how long I'll be at sea once we leave Copenhagen, but when I get back I'll do what I can to help. Seems like the least I can do considering I missed out on everything.

I wish fighting the sea serpent had been that easy. We had to go inside the bloody thing to kill it.

Why not? Everyone I knew back in the day drank it just fine. I knew a fellow who drank it with gunpowder.

Well, that's alarming! What was the average lifespan back then?

I don't know that for certain, but I can say, I knew maybe one or two other people who'd reached their fourth decade before getting topped. All the rest died for one reason or another.
