Yeah, no kidding. [Why movie why] They probably didn't. And I'd say Christian is a bad boy...just not in the way the movie intends. Honestly, I find him pretty creepy.

As someone who does enjoy the bad boy trope, he's more like... a sociopathic asshole whose self-absorbed attitude should push everyone everyone away, and yet by plot necessity she's more than attracted to him by, yes, the thought of "saving" or "fixing" something broken, which is insulting itself. It falls in the same holes that the Dusk saga does, which is no surprise consider its ultimate origin, and yet... I can't help but be disappointed.

[They're not even bad in an entertaining way. Or new.]

About the movie, anyway. I'm quite alright with Akira's dedication, even if his outfit is lacking.
