Crow pulls out his wallet and sorts through a few bills.]

Let's go. I got enough for our bus fare.

[But he softens at Elliot's words. Because, no, you're probably right Elliot. No way he could afford it on what he makes now.]

Yeah, we met at the gym I go to, and she saw me motel hopping so...that's how it all got started.

[He nods] Okay. Bus stop's just down the road.

[Starts heading that way!]

Wow, she sounds pretty incredible. If she ever comes back to town, I'd love to meet her.

[His face kind of falls...keeping a secret from your friend was rough. Not for a surprise or because you didn't WANT to tell...but there's no good way to explain it that doesn't make you sound crazy.]

Yeah, likely not. Though...truth be told, it never felt like it had to come up? We always found plenty to talk about without me feeling like I need to talk about the app.

[It was always easy to talk to Crow, even when he was oblivious to all the strange things around him.

They reach the bus stop. It's nothing fancy, just a sign and a bench. Time to wait for the bus...hopefully it won't be too long.]

Perceptive, huh? Well, small blessings then. And hey, another bright side- there's lots of casinos in Atlanta. If you got a chance to visit, you'd have a couch to crash on.

[The bus pulls up, and Crow gestures for Elliot to go first, like a gentleman.]

A soul... [he keeps his own voice down.] Yeah, that's true. Though we still don't know how many people in this world are souls.

[One of many mysteries. Elliot will get on the bus first. A quick pay of his bus card, he finds the first open set of seats. He sits down and scoots close to the window, so there's room for Crow to sit]

Wow, really? [..] What does she do with all those girls?

True...Could be everyone or just a couple of em. [Still, it's pretty funny that like souls seem to attract to awakened ones, so to speak.]

[Crow flashes his card as well, nodding to the bus driver and moving to sit next to Elliot, taking the aisle seat.]

Heh, date em, I guess. They sure don't call ME back, that's for sure.

Better stick with guys if I want to have a chance.

[Exactly, Elliot nods. And they'll never know for sure unless they get ahold of retrospec records...which who knows when that'll happen.]

Wow...I can't imagine dating all those people.

Aha, yeah. But I'd imagine that dream becomes a nightmare when it comes time for Christmas shopping.

[So many people to keep straight and buy for. Elliot has a rough enough time with family]

Well I try and tailor it to the person I'm trying to pick up. So for example, if it were you, I'd do something like..

[He'll just throw an arm around Elliot's shoulders.]

I may be Baroque but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a night on the town~
