doesn't respond, and once he sees Elliot approaching, opens the door for him. He looks rather like a dog with his tail between his legs, but hey. It doesn't look like he's totally bled through the wad of paper towels he has wrapped around his one hand yet? That's gotta be like one whole point in his favor?]

[Elliot meanwhile will put his phone away and finishes the trek. When he sees Rean, he'll approach. If Rean think he's about to be scolded, Elliot doesn't look it. Honestly, he's still dealt with worse patients. Instead, he offers him a small smile]

Hey Rean. Sorry it took me so long to get over here. Do you wanna go back to your room or is there somewhere else private we can go?

[He'd rather a bunch of people didn't watch his magic after all...too many questions]

[Rean seems a little relieved at not being scolded any further, at least.]

Yeah, we can head back up to my room. I kinda figured that would be what happened.

[He waves his good hand for Elliot to follow as he goes back to the elevator, hitting the button to open it. Thankfully, it hasn't gone far since Rean stepped off, so it's there and open for them to board shortly thereafter.

Rean punches in the button for his floor (still with his good hand! He can be a good dog!) and flops back against the wall with a sigh.]
