[ So, Minato is exactly the kind of person who invites random strangers out on lunch or breakfast dates, or...anywhere, really. Part of being a Persona Protagonist means just randomly associating with strangers until they tell you their life stories after the third date or something, it's great.

Also he's just kind of relaxed by nature and goes with whatever he feels like doing. When Elliot shows up, he'll find a boy dressed pretty casually, listening to some kind of music on his headphones. If Elliot sent any files already, it might be those. If not...it's just some of his usual music. ]

[Elliot did send along the files, because one does not turn down the chance to endorse your music. He's also a little late coming in, not dramatically so, just the typical kind of late a person is when they suffer from chronic tardiness.

He's...a little nervous about this, going to breakfast with a total stranger. And what more, he kinda forgot to ask what the guy LOOKED like. So he's outside the place, looking around nervously for any sign.]

Man, I should've asked for a picture...

[It'll be easy for Minato to spot him though. With his nerves on high alert, his cat features are showing up. So there's a redhead with matching cat ears atop his head, as well as a cat tail swaying nervously. Probably your guy! ]

[ Ah, cat man. Minato at least is pretty smart when he's not being pretty weird, so he spots Elliot and heads over, shifting his headphones down to his shoulders. The faint sound of that first song comes out, as he treks over. He's...pretty casual looking; jeans and a hoodie, looks relaxed, doesn't seem at all concerned about the world in general, etc. ]

Hey. Omlettes, right?

[That cat ears will perk up as the guy approaches him. Not only did he mention omelettes, but Elliot of course would recognize his own music. This has to be the guy.

He'll give a nervous smile as he gives a wave]

Eheh, that's me! Sorry, I forgot to ask for a photo-

[He clears his throat, dropping that line of thought. It's been resolved now!]

Minato, right? I'm Elliot. Nice to meet you in person.

No worries, I didn't remember, either.

[ A slow shrug. It's not like it got in the way of them finding one another, right? Not like he would have been that put out even if it had...he just would have put in some more effort. ]

The place we're going is right over there, if you're ready?

[Yeah Minato that's some logical reasoning to all of it. Someday, maybe, Elliot will calm down enough to not make him worry so much.

...Yeah who are we kidding, that'll never happen]

Eheh, yep! I'm ready. I've walked by this place a bunch of times, but I've never tried it before.

[ It's okay, Minato can be calm enough for the two of them for now. ]

Hm...I've gone here a bunch. The cheap food is still good food...and that's important.

[ He has to eat. A lot. So...yeah, Minato is the man you want to ask if you want food that is both cheap, filling, and good. ]

Cheap and good? Haha, now you're talking my language!

[Because man he is broke as heck. He'll head to the restaurant, holding open the door for Minato]

[ What a gentleman! Minato wanders inside, casually. He'll get them a booth, since it's a pretty lax place to eat. ]

I eat a lot, so I have to be on the lookout for that kinda thing.

[He'll follow him to the booth]

Haha really? Well then I'll be sure to ask you for place recommendations. My budget's pretty tight most of the time.

[ He's not going to lead with possession, but being open about his appetite when he's about to share a meal...is very fair, probably. ]

Ah...I work a lot of part time jobs, myself.

Ehe, seriously? Sounds like you've measured it before.

[Because what a precise answer! But it doesn't cross his mind quite yet that anything is weird, because sometimes people are bottomless stomachs]

Yeah? I did that for awhile. What kind of jobs?

Flower shop, barista, waiter...that kind of thing.

[ He needs...a lot of income to feed himself, so he just kind of has a full schedule when he can. And then he sleeps around it. ]

Funds are important.

Sounds like a lot of stuff...you must be pretty busy.

[He rubs the back of his head]

Anything you'd like to do eventually? What kind of stuff are you into?

Well, I like listening to music. And eating. And sleeping.

[ Is there a career for that? ]

[Well, at least one of those perks his interest!]

Oh? What kind of music do you like?

Hm...kind of eclectic. A lot of it is from Japan, though.

[ Just sort of soothing, even if he lives in America now. ]

Is that so?

So...do you mean anime and video game music, or other kinds of japanese music?

[Look, he's friend with a weeb, he knows what it means when someone says they like music from Japan]

Hm, I like rock? But I've listened to the other two often enough.

[ He mostly listens to rock, though. ]

Rock huh? [What do you know!]

Haha, I can't say I know a lot about japanese rock- but I'm interested to hear any recommendations!

[By now, the waiter comes by to drop off their menus and give them glasses of water]

Hm...well, One OK Rock has some songs that are mostly in English or partly, which might be a good intro...?

[ And then of course they have full Japanese songs. But, Minato thinks sometimes it's easier on foreigners to give them things they understand. ]

Ehe, oh you don't have to worry about making sure the words are in English! I might not know Japanese, but I do speak music. I listen to songs in different languages all the time.

[The melody, the beat, the rhythm, the instruments- that's where the real meaning of the song lies. ]

In that case, I can just send you my favorite playlists?

[ That seems like an easy solution. ]

Oh- [The waiter comes by. Elliot will order a omelette and coffee to himself]

[ Two omelettes, a stack of pancakes, and some bacon over here. Oh, and a side of fruit. And some hashbrowns. And water and tea. ]
