Ash and I are on vacation this month. Yes, this was a decision made because of a recent addition to the team, as I'm sure you've seen already on the recent Zodiac announcement. I'll keep an eye on it, but that's the extent of my involvement.

He's a warning that I'm going to wait until it's closer to June to deal with. Unfortunately, this does mean that the two of us might be more cagey than usual.

Yeah, that whole thing does not look pleasant, to put it very lightly. I'm glad you guys are taking some time off to look after yourselves rather than jumping right into that.

I understand if you guys have to keep some things under wraps, and I'll respect that. Just... don't let things get to the point of last month again, okay?

The questions being raised against him are more than warranted. That being said, he got himself into it. He can get himself out of it. Maybe.

I'm certainly going to try not to repeat last month. Once was more than enough. I'll let you know as much as I can, though if you feel as if I'm falling into that same hole again, I can only ask that you call me out on it.

But hey, I got some good news! I had a nice talk with Dr. Rosewood. He sent me a list of different therapists in the area that "won't go running", like you said. He even helped do a background check with them, but also said that it'd be alright if you wanted to bring Jusis or Rean with you, just in case.

You don't have to do anything about it right now, but I'm going to send you the email so you can handle it when you're ready, okay?

Generally speaking, he's meant to make sure that we're staying in line. The Order doesn't give a damn about their own reputation since it means less people will get in the way.

That's appreciated, and I may take you up on that offer. Fortunately, house hunting will take up much of my time this month, so this is aligning well enough.

I can understand that. It was quite an adjustment I had to make when I moved to the US. I had just become of age to drink harder liquors in Germany, but moving here meant I could only drink privately if I was desperate enough.

Indeed. In Germany, you can start drinking beer and wine publicly at 16. It's a very different culture, certainly. When I was in college, disclosing where I was born and raised meant that I got dragged into debates on the legal age of alcohol more times than I could count. The majority was in good fun, though tiring for me, but there were a handful of bad faith debates as well.
