Elliot, may I ask for your assistance in the maintenance of an instrument? This was given to me, and I know what it is but I do not wish for it to fall into disrepair in the future.

I believe it is called a Morin Khuur. I've no experience maintaining any instrument. I've never owned one before, but one of my dearest friends in my home world is a musician. This is hers.

Well maintaining an instrument isn't unlike maintaining a weapon. It needs regular care to make sure it stays in top condition. Is it a wooden instrument? If so, we could probably use the supplies I use to maintain my string instruments.

It is a wooden instrument. If you are able to provide what I need to maintain it, it would be most appreciated. Even if I cannot play it, I would like to see it in its best condition.

Ah, no. I've not considered it... I confess I often fear breaking instruments because of my heavy hands. There are times where I've been able to sing, but that is quite different I realize.

Haha, I understand- but there's a lot of instruments that are pretty durable! Honestly many of them require a surprising amount of hand strength to play them well.

But hey, singing's a good start. I'd love to hear you sing sometime!
