Public transit works for me if all else fails, it's my usual default when I gotta hike a good distance.

Ah, yeah..that friend of mine who's off Retrospec. We were supposed to room together my first year I came here, but her stubborn old man wouldn't have it and she's back with him out of state. She still pays the rent, though, 'slong as I keep it maintained and she can come and go when she wants.

Whichever you'd prefer. [Bus or taking one of your friends rides. Your call Crow]

Oh wow...that explains how you have your own apartment. [Because no offense Crow, but there's no way anyone can afford an apartment with no roommates on odd jobs that pay in fish] She sounds like a really nice friend. Too bad about her dad...

Crow pulls out his wallet and sorts through a few bills.]

Let's go. I got enough for our bus fare.

[But he softens at Elliot's words. Because, no, you're probably right Elliot. No way he could afford it on what he makes now.]

Yeah, we met at the gym I go to, and she saw me motel hopping so...that's how it all got started.

[He nods] Okay. Bus stop's just down the road.

[Starts heading that way!]

Wow, she sounds pretty incredible. If she ever comes back to town, I'd love to meet her.

[His face kind of falls...keeping a secret from your friend was rough. Not for a surprise or because you didn't WANT to tell...but there's no good way to explain it that doesn't make you sound crazy.]

Oh yeah, that problem ... that is one of the more frustrating parts of the app.

It can feel like you're leading a double life you can't tell anyone, honestly. Or if you try...no one believes you, or they forget.

Yeah, likely not. Though...truth be told, it never felt like it had to come up? We always found plenty to talk about without me feeling like I need to talk about the app.

Perceptive, huh? Well, small blessings then. And hey, another bright side- there's lots of casinos in Atlanta. If you got a chance to visit, you'd have a couch to crash on.

[Crow flashes his card as well, nodding to the bus driver and moving to sit next to Elliot, taking the aisle seat.]
