[No complaints here— there’s no telling what kind of stakes he’d pull out.]

I don’t drink that often, but it’s good to be prepared.

Now I'm curious what you're like when you're drunk.

[ His tone is lighthearted as he says that. He pours some scotch into both glasses and hands her one. ]

[She takes the glass, sipping at it.]

...I know you won’t give yourself the proper chance to grieve. And right about now you probably have a bunch of regrets you’re not willing to admit because you’re the one who chose to hold yourself back.

The least I can do is make sure you don’t do it alone.

He takes a sip of his own glass, sitting next to her. ]

Well, there is one thing I definitely regret.

[Towa sits the ice cream in the middle and sticks the spoon into it.]

[She digs out some ice cream and shoves it in his mouth.]

You’re such an idiot. Why did I know you were going to say that? As if you won’t already be hitting on anything that moves.

Well, I suppose this is the person you like we’re talking about, so I suppose I can see what you mean.

[So he’s not wrong. This is pretty unfair to Crow. Even if it sounds stupid coming out of his mouth.]

...well, I tried. Not much point in fighting it now anyway, not after I already bought the suit and everything.

[ He takes a sip of the glass of scotch he's holding. ]

Time really flies, huh...

[One week.Towa takes a sip-- and then immediately, another. Speaking of time--]

In just under two weeks it'll have been two months.

[ He doesn't need any clarification with that. ]

[ He stares down at his drink but doesn't take another sip yet, instead swirling the glass around. ]

I don't have an answer for you yet, but... I'm still thinking about it.

[She scoops some ice cream in her mouth, pulling her legs up and hugging them to her chest.]

I wouldn't ask you now anyway. You have enough to think about. I waited this long... I can wait two more weeks.

[ It might be easier to just flat-out say "no" if she weren't. ]

If it comes down to it, and the only thing that's bothering you is the fact that I'm a witch-- I've heard that there may be a way to change that.
