Hehe, Morrigan's pretty great! He's super smart!

[ Morrigan is too busy enjoying the comforts of his owner who has been gone for like a month, so he's doing this. ]

[ Akira's cat is cute and sassy. He was expecting his friend to mention the underwear since it's public knowledge now, but he guesses he's glad he didn't? Not sure. He does roll onto the tip of his toes so he can peek over Souji's shoulder to see...

[ honestly, souji... already knows about the underwear because yusuke told him about it way back when so he kind of figured but he won't say anything. the cat is cute enough ]

[ He... makes a face as he saunters into the kitchen and takes a seat at the dining table, cat still in his arms, just... ]

[ souji follows and also takes a seat at the dining table because it's time to eat :9 the fox has pretty much finished her food and looks over at akira. how much money can she steal from him HMMM but souji thinks for a second as he ponders this ]

[Here's hoping he DOESN'T die though. Meanwhile the coffee is ready, so he takes the pot off the burner and brings it over. Digging out a food brush, he'll slowly pour some coffee onto the steak and brush it to coat it.

The purple smoke increases. Above Elliot's head, the clouds of purple turn red and form into a red skull in the smoke.

This might be a terrible idea. ]

[ Careful, other fox friend. Akira is no stranger to mugging strange creatures; foxes can very well be included. Morrigan perks up when he senses her gaze, staring straight back without blinking. While they do their thing, Akira watches how the smoke exudes and forms into blatant signs of death. He has seen Elliot brew coffee, but he hasn’t seen anything that has done that.

Why? Why... Sure, coffee can be used in cooking, even as a marinade, but why? ]

It’s perfect for him. He died as he lived, a crazy cat lady.

[ souji looks at the red smoke and skull and he just nods as if that's a fucking normal thing and he's okay with still eating it. the fox has actually already stolen souji's wallet during the event last month so maybe this is her chance to steal souji's new wallet again. and akira's and elliot's while they bury him. and then yusuke's because who cares about yusuke ]

He finishes marinading the steak with the coffee (which take a bit since the coffee is so thick). Then he transfers the meat to the plate. The sound it makes when it drops onto the plate sounds more like he just dropped a rock onto the plate than a steak. The whole dish glows purple, with that red skull floating above it.

Again, this is probably a terrible idea.]

Well, it's... I don't think I'd choose that lifestyle, but more power to you if you do?

[HE'S STAYING NEUTRAL. ]

[ Good thing Akira can heal/cure Souji if it comes down to it, but he squints at the plate and holds his cat closer. Morrigan's ears pin back at the sight of the plate, obviously haven't cotton to it despite living here for a while now.

No time to pick at Souji's hoarding problem. It's time. ]

[ souji is so ready to eat. he's absolutely starving so when the plate is brought over and set in front of him, he doesn't look afraid. in fact, he looks ready. he claps his hands together ]

[ he takes the fork and knife and starts cutting a piece of the steak. it probably takes him like a full minute or two to cut it because of how hard it is but he does it and the absolute madman puts the piece in his mouth to eat. it's another long minute as he just chews and chews and chews but then he swallows and... ]

... it tastes pretty good.

[ give him a few seconds before he dies ]

[That knife is definitely going to need sharpening after all this. Elliot just watches, with worry and fear on his face, but that's a normal expression when Souji eats. He can tell that meal is bad. Even if he made it, he can recognize it's awful. ]

D-Does it...?

[ Akira's only quiet as he watches Souji... But then his attention turns to Elliot.

#YIKES is scribbled all over his face. ]

[ souji nods as he begins to cut himself another piece ]

[ souji suddenly freezes and he drops his knife and fork. he stays frozen for a full second as he stares off into the distance and then he... ]

--blurghf!

[ ... falls off his seat and falls to the floor, dead. ]

[ congrats, guys. you killed him ]

[THE NIGHTMARES WERE REAL]

[ Pfft... He busts out laughing at this display, thinking it's all just a joke? Yu acts, so maybe Souji does, too? ]

[ He holds his cat who is looking at the corpse suspiciously—a minute passes, now two. Three. Four. ]

... He isn't moving.

I-I don't think this is a joke! He's never done this!

[He starts pulling some at his own hair. OH GOD HE MURDERED A MAN. IN HIS OWN KITCHEN.]

What should we do??
