First of all, the dilemma you're having is very normal! You and Fugo are close, so it's only natural this would come up sooner or later.

I agree you need to think things over, but what I suggest thinking over is what you're desiring from Fugo.

Like do you get excited spending time with him? Do you hang onto every word he say? Would you be happy never having sex, just so long as you could be near him? If you're thinking that kind of stuff, then that's a sign of deeper feelings and worth considering asking him out- if you feel ready for that.

But if all of your desires towards Pat are just sexual things- you're probably just 17 and horny. I'd recommend reading some erotica and having a couple, ahem, private nights - and the feeling will eventually pass without making your friendship awkward!
