[So, Jusis did a coin flip for which of his two best friends gets asked this question. Unfortunately for Elliot, Fate has decided the redhead gets to answer.]
Elliot, I have a somewhat strange question to ask. Do I act or in some way seem like I'm some sort of knight? Fairytale or otherwise.
[At least he's straight to the point.]
I've been called as such by at least two different people.
[Ugh, Jusis doesn't want to, but with the alarm bells screaming in his head after that Zodiac post, he knows he has to make a sacrifice, here. This is the part of his job he dislikes.]
Elliot. I apologize for contacting you so suddenly, but I wanted to let you and Rean know that I won't be available in the evenings for some time. Weekends, unfortunately, included.
[He's about to wreck his sleep schedule since he's fine at night with his Light powers. Not to mention... well, depending on what info they get in the next day or so determines his next steps.]
I'm hoping April will allow my normal schedule to resume. However, I'll let you know as soon as I can if that's not the case.
[Jusis has been debating whether or not to ask, but, in the end, he gives into the desire for a certain someone's company. He's at least been practicing his singing so that he doesn't completely embarrass himself.
Hopefully, this isn't too... date-like. Or forward. Or something.]
I've recently found out that there is a certain flower in the Arcadia complex's courtyard that blooms when you play music for it. I've been singing to them for a couple of days to make sure this is true, and they've been blooming when I do. If you're interested, would you like to play music for them with me?
Elliot, would you like to meet me for lunch or coffee or something? I find myself needing to vent and I think you may be the only person who understands what I'm going through right now.
[Hey, it's Jusis's favorite migraine here to spread the misery.]
Hello again, Elliot. I hope you've been doing well.
Jusis suggested that I reach out about a music-related inquiry, which my friend didn't answer in the way I had anticipated. I was hoping you could shed light on this with your expertise.
[Okay no. Slow deep breaths Elliot. You're supposed to teach about music, and this guy wants to ask a question about music. It's fine. It's fine. Totally fine]
Hey, uh...Zulius let me know that apparently he was the one who ended up telling you I was alive.
[Along with two other people, but Moxxie didn't get their names, so Elliot is the one he's apologizing to.]
And he mentioned it's really upsetting for people to think people are dead when they're not, so...I just wanted to apologize for not trying harder to let you know I wasn't still dead.
Y-Yeah, he was the one to tell me. I'll admit it was definitely a shock when I heard the news, but it's not like I've been mad. I'm not your student anymore, so I didn't expect you to go out of your way to give me life updates.
[Jusis isn't even really thinking about it until he abruptly is thinking about it. He suddenly wonders about that steak dinner he and Elliot had once, as a way to make up for Varian... kind of ruining the musician's date night by exploding Zodiac's apartment complex. This feels best spoken about over voice at the very least.]
Elliot? I have a strange question for you, if you have a moment.
[His friend will absolutely be forgiven if he's feeling dread about this, given how Jusis's questions to him have... Gone in the past. Never forget his ace confusion over telling Amal to kneel.]
[Elliot meanwhile has been kinda busy dealing with the last bit of upsetting news Jusis dropped on Class VII. Rean is busy comforting Ash for now, so Elliot wonders if Jusis is contacting him privately about the same subject to keep Ash in the dark about the plan. Which hey, smart!!]
I always have time for you, Jusis.
Did you find information on that Alba guy already? Oh no, do we actually need to kill him?
[Varian doesn't turn to Elliot as much as he used to, when he first got here. If he took the time to think about it, he'd realise it's a sign of growing up- that he doesn't need to desperately cling to the first authority figure who gave him the time of day.
But just because he doesn't rely on him as much doesn't mean he doesn't value Elliot's advice a lot. ]
Hi, Elliot. Can I talk to you about something? I'd really appreciate your insight.
[It has in fact been awhile since Varian contacted him directly. Which wasn't a bad thing, Varian was getting his own life in this world. But he is still quick to respond to his student, as always]
[A short while after Blade's post, a cat that Elliot may or may not recognize as belonging to Fugo will come up to him, set a small bag down, and leave.
The bag contains a number of elixirs from Hyrule, a couple of useful items purchased from shops in Undertown, a good luck charm, and a note:
For if you end up going into the Labyrinth. - Fugo]
